A team of experts from the Ministry of Water and Environment have recommended that the community in northern Uganda be sensitised on the best operational practices around water facilities to ensure that the water sources are well protected.
More than a year ago, Doreen Aciro would spend hours to and from the nearest borehole, which was her only access to safe water, but thanks to government intervention that has since brought water at her doorstep.
