    Kavuuya builds sh200m health centre in father's memory

    Mbarara tycoon, Ben Kavuuya is constructing a sh200m health facility for the public in memory of his parents, Yeremiya and Joyce Kavuuya. His father died in 1987 after he failed to get medication to control his blood pressure. The health facility will serve 100 people per day.

    Police closes St Gerald's Makobore High over clashes

    Police in Rukungiri has closed two schools over fighting that started on Thursday night after over 20 students seriously injured. The Kigezi sub-region Police spokesperson, Elly Maate, said the students of St Gerald's invaded Makobore High School Kinyasaano with the aim of burning down their school. However they found the students alert and a bitter fight ensued.
