    Doho floods cut off Butalejja district

    Floods have cut off the Butaleja-Mbale road, making the route impassable. The banks of river Manafwa, which flows through Butaleja district, burst yesterday morning, causing heavy floods at Doho Rice scheme after two days of rainfall in most parts of the district.

    Museveni urges Ugandans to join technical schools

    President Yoweri Museveni has urged Ugandans to emulate and embrace the Korean aspect of entrepreneurship to ensure continuous development. He also thanked South Korean government for the soft loan extended to Uganda. The president encouraged the people of Iganga to follow the four-acre model of planting coffee, fruits and food while carrying out poultry projects.
