    Web-based bakery production management system

    ABSTRACT This is a computerized BPMs project study that was carried out at Mama Kevinna Bakery in Tororo. The main objective of the study was to develop Bakery production Management system to minimize wastage of ingredients during production process, improve production efficiency, reduced costs which enhance the production practices. To come up with the system, data was collected through questionnaires and interviewing the manager, bakers and storekeeper as well as observation and focus group discussion. The data collected was analyzed and then used to design and implement the system using RAD model approach. The system was developed using Unifying Modeling Languages with frontend and back-end interfaces with a database system. The developing software tools included PHP, HTML, JavaScript, Xampp together with MYSQL. The database stores records of Bakery and other related information. The system also enables Manager and other system users to update, edit, delete, view and add new bakery and make contributions
