The following are the objectives; are school facilities, equipment and instructional materials accessed equally by both boys and girls for effective learning of mathematics? how do teachers’ motivation affect pupils’ performance in Mathematics? and how pupil’s reaction towards mathematics affects pupil’s performance in mathematics. The proposal is to use three sets of instruments; questionnaire to the Headteachers and interview guides to pupils and another for teachers were the main research instruments used to collect data. The target population is primary six, primary seven pupils, and teachers, 3 Headteachers, 9 teachers, 108 pupils that totals to 120 respondents are used in this study. They are to be selected to participate by survey research design and stratified random sampling. Frequency and percentage were used to analyze the data. The major findings of the study were unequal accessibility of school facilities and equipment that require school administrators to find a source of funding. The report further concludes that there are low teachers’ motivation that could motivate pupils to learn mathematics. The researcher recommends that adequate training and support supervision should be encouraged to empower the teachers. Areas recommended that for further study by the researcher include a case study about the adequacy of school facilities, equipment and instructional materials, for effective learning of mathematics and a study could also be carried out to find out the effects of rewards on motivation of girls in primary schools.
