    NMS was established by an Act of Parliament in 1993, it is mandated to procure store and distribute essential medicines, vaccines and medical supplies to all public health facilities in the country, NMS has a modern 7200gm warehouse in Entebbe which is used for the orderly receipt storage and packing of supplies destined to GOU Health facilities.
