    OPM officials accused of grabbing farmland.

    Officials in the office of the Prime Minister (OPM) have been accused of grabbing a 200- acre of farmland in Kazinga village, Rwentuha sub-county in Kyegegwa district. It is alleged that in 2016, senior officials from the OPM violently evicted Mr. Stephen Irumba and destroyed his property claiming to use the land to settle expelled Ugandans from Tanzania.

    Queen mother accused of selling burial sites.

    Enraged royal family members yesterday reduced the stature of their Queen mother, Best Kemigisa, to a land grabber and openly accused her of illegally selling Tooro Kingdom land. Evidence before the Justice Catherine Bamugemereire led commission shows that upon the death of King Patrick Mathew Olimi Kaboyo 3 in August 1995.
