    Kampala: Makerere University lectures and the Vice Chancellor, Prof Barnabas Nawangwe, are embroiled in a row over alleged failure by the latter to remove the dean of the school of Statistics and Planning (SSP) from the institution. A group of 31 lecturers attached to the Makerere University SSP have accused Prof Nawangwe of failing to implement their recommendation in regard to the removal of the said official from office. In a case filled before the High Court in Kampala on Thursday, the lecturers sued Makerere University and Prof Nawangwe jointly with his deputy Prof William Bazeyo and the dean of SSP, Dr Robert Wamala
