    How to decongest referral hospitals.
(New Vision, 2017-01-12) Kiberu, M. Vicent
Uganda’s main health facilities have consistently faced congestion and occasional drug shortages. Our public healthcare system – structured into national referral hospitals (NRHs), regional referral hospitals (RRHs), general hospitals (GHs), health centres (HCs; HC-IVs, HC-IIIs, HC-IIs) and village health teams (HC-Is), works on a referral basis, with individuals progressing from level to level until their healthcare issue is resolved.
