UPHLC-MS/MS-GNPS BASED PHOTOCHEMICAL INVESTIGATION OF EUCLEA RACEMOSA AND ITS ANTIMICROBIAL ACTIVITY
    (MAKOOMA BRIAN, 2026-09-03) MAKOOMA BRIAN
Euclea racemose has leathery foliage that can be exceptionally even and dense making it an ideal plant for hedges . A dioecious tree (male and female flower on separate plant). It produces white flowers, which are followed by red, purple and black fruits that attract birds . Euclea racemosa, commonly known as the “sea guarrie” is a small to medium sized evergreen tree native to the African Indian ocean coast, ranging from Egypt to south Africa. This adaptable plant thrives in diverse habitats like dry woodland, bushland, riverine forests. Due to its growth habit, it is often used as a hedge and is valued locally for its edible fruits, which are sometimes processed into “guarrie vinegar” ailments. Traditionally, Euclea racemosa has been utilized in traditional medicine for various With recent research focusing on its potential laxative properties derived from its root extract . Basing on Network pharmacology, molecular docking and molecular dynamics simulations studies, A lot of investigations in molecular mechanisms in the management of Dental carries Potential target genes of euclear racemosa were predicted using Swiss target prediction data base. The Gencards, OMIM and DisGeNet databases were used to compile a comprehensive list of genes associated with Dental carries. A compound -disease-network was constructed, and protein- protein interaction networks were analysed to identify hub genes. Finally, molecular docking and interaction of analysis between euclear racemosa and the identified proteins were performed using AutoDock tools.
