    Activities of the UNOPS Ethics Office in 2023 : report of the Ethics Office

    This report is submitted to the Executive Board in accordance with paragraph 9 of decision 2010/17 whereby the UNOPS Ethics Office is requested to submit its report to the Executive Board at the annual session. In accordance with section 3(h) of the Secretary-General’s Bulletin ST/SGB/2007/11, the UNOPS Ethics Office provides this report annually to the Executive Director. Additionally, pursuant to ‘United Nations system-wide application of ethics: separately administered organs and programmes’ (ST/SGB/2007/11/Amend.1, section 5.4), the Ethics Panel of the United Nations reviewed the draft report during its 164th meeting on 6 February 2024. The UNOPS Audit Advisory Committee reviewed a draft of the report in February 2024. The present report covers the period from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023. This is the 15th annual report presented by the Ethics Office since its establishment in 2009.
