    Extraction and preparation of a low-cost functional dye sensitized solar cell.

    This report explores the development of Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSCs) using natural dyes as low-cost, eco-friendly alternatives to expensive and toxic synthetic sensitizers. Various natural pigments, including anthocyanins from rosella and guinea sorrel, battalions from beetroot, and curcumin from turmeric, were extracted and analyzed. Research indicates that the extraction solvent, pH levels, and the use of dye combinations significantly influence the efficiency of the solar dye.
