Abstract
This unit attempts to provide the participants an overview on
i) needs, requirements, types and technical issues related to interoperability in open access contents dissemination;
ii) present interoperability initiatives;
iii) metadata interoperability and harvesting and
iv) trends and future possibilities in interoperability.
