Abstract
The tourism sector is a cash cow for the country, raking in $1.7 billion (shs6.3 trillion) in 2025, according to the Ministry of Tourism, wildlife and Antiquities. The sector also employs thousands of Ugandans, directly and indirectly, enabling them to earn a decent living.
