This study investigated the relationship between engagement culture and organizational citizenship behaviors of teachers at selected primary schools in West Budama. The study was guided by three specific objectives of the study which included establishing the relationship between, Teacher career development, Teacher recognition, Teacher involvement, and OCB. A cross-sectional research design was employed using both qualitative and quantitative research approaches. 147 respondents participated in the study by answering the questionnaire and 12 participated in the interview guide. Questionnaires and interview guides were used to collect quantitative and qualitative data. Frequencies and percentages were used to show the distribution of respondents on different items and the data collected using the interview guide was quoted verbatim. Pearson’s Linear correlation coefficient was used to determine the level of correlation between the variables. In the findings it is confirmed that a favorable human resource development climate leads to favorable behaviors of individuals that represent OCB, teachers are more satisfied when they are recognized and appreciated for their roles at school, and teachers' involvement is considered a direct predictor of the good performance and success of the school. It was concluded that career development, staff recognition, and involvement have a positive relationship with OCB. Therefore, the study recommended that; Primary school administrators and managers should put in place a system that enables the teachers to grow their career. The administrators and managers should recognize teachers through promotions, awarding certificates of achievements, and various appreciations to enhance their organizational citizenship behaviors. Managers of primary schools should involve teachers in all the school affairs say in teamwork building, decision making, and planning to enhance their organizational citizenship behaviors.
