Abstract
Police have recorded fewer incidents of crime within Acholi Sub-region thanks to the deployment of Uganda People's Defence Forces soldiers and police in major hotspots in the region.
Aswa Regional Police spokesperson Jimmy Okema told Daily Monitor on Monday that Acholi Sub-region was largely peaceful during the Christmas festivities with only a few minor incidents registered.
