| dc.description.abstract | The latest labour market survey report has indicated a decline in the informality rate, meaning more jobs are being covered by formal arrangements such as social security, paid leave and formal contracts. The 2025 labour market survey report by the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) shows that 89.2% of the employed population is in informal employment, including agriculture, a slight decrease from 92% reported in 2021. | |
