dc.description.abstractA total of 167 academic staff from the five public universities in Uganda were yesterday awarded scholarships for graduate training at doctoral and master levels under the Mak-Sida Bilateral Research Programme. The scholarships, aimed at capacity building to promote research for national and regional development, were as a result of the renewed research cooperation agreement between the governments of Uganda and Sweden for five years (2015–2020).
