Abstract
Without going into the nomenclature of the Marburg species, the viral strain is in two known subclasses; Marburg virus (MARV) and Ravn Virus (RAVV). The Marburg hemorrhagic fever was first identified in Uganda in 2007, 2008 then in 2012 and 2014. The 2017 occurrence is largely sighted in Kween district. The hypothesis of what transmits Marburg Hemorrhagic Fever (MHF) is bats and wild monkeys, but evidence is still inconclusive on the actual cause.
