Abstract
Former state minister for Gender, Labour and Social Development Sam Bitangaro (NRM) has bounced back as MP for Bufumbira South in Kisoro District, polling 31,794 votes.
He defeated Ms Lillian Mbabazi (Independent), who got 5,270 votes and Vincent Mushakamba (FDC), who received 600 votes.
