Abstract
Local drug manufacture, Cipla Quality Chemicals Industry Limited, has called on the government to further tighten the screws on importation of drugs by way of policy. The HIV, malaria and Hepatitis B drugs manufacturing firm is a joint venture between Cipla of India, which currently holds majority Stake and Quality Chemicals Uganda Limited.
