Abstract
The much awaited Sugarcane Bill is soon coming to parliament and maybe what saves the sugarcane industry from collapse.
The Bill will, among other things, provide for an industry regulator, set guidelines for licensing of mills, establish a research institute and laydown some parameters for sugar cane pricing.
