Activists and people living with HIV/AIDS want the new HIV Act amended, saying that some of its sections are discriminatory, overly vague and undermine the efforts made in the fight against the disease. "Some sections are good, but the bad sections have overshadowed them. You cannot get a new cloth and bury it in the mud," Irene Namyalo, the publicist Uganda Network on Law Ethics and HIV/AIDS (UGANET) says.
