Abstract
According to the Uganda Cancer Institute (UCI), several factors contribute to the high burden of oncologic emergencies in Uganda, with late diagnosis being among the most significant. Many patients seek medical care only when symptoms have become severe, often after tumors have grown large or spread to vital organs.
