Abstract
Kinyara Sugar on Monday agreed to pay a top-up of sh27,500 for every tonne of sugarcane supplied by farmers between July 1, 2016 and June 30, 2017. Kinyara has been paying sh100,818 per tonne. The current price stands at sh128,318 and every farmer who was paid earlier will have the balance paid as arrears.
