Supporters of sexual and reproductive health and rights advocate for women's bodily autonomy through access to contraceptives and sexuality education, including the choice not to have children. However, women, especially the young, who make this decision often face stigma and social pressure. Mary Ashley Ainomugisha, 25, shares with Gillian Nantume the empowerment she found after undergoing sterilisation.
