Abstract
Following the reported outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease in Tororo district, local authorities have embarked on vaccinating all the cattle against the disease. The acting district veterinary officer, Dr Boniface Obbo, confirmed the exercise, saying they had dispatched a team to all the 21 sub-counties to vaccinate the animals beginning on Monday.
