dc.description.abstractThe Information, Communication, and Technology (ICT) sector has created more than 750,000 jobs in the last three years, boosting the total number of employed Ugandans to 1.3 million. This revelation was made by Dr Aminah Zawedde, the permanent secretary of the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance, in a speech that was read by Mr Moses Watasa, the ministry's commissioner in-charge of information and communication, during the 23rd graduation ceremony of Kampala University yesterday.
