dc.description.abstractMpigi Magistrate's Court has granted a court order for a recount of votes cast in the election of Butambala District Woman legislator that took place on February 18. Granting the order last Friday, Chief Magistrate Jolly Nswanda Nkole based her decision on a petition filed by Ms Aisha Kabanda Nalule, who was the NRM flag bearer in the race, seeking scrutiny of the votes cast after losing to Independent candidate Lydia Mirembe.
