Abstract
For some legislators, getting a seat in the august House is seen as an opportunity for financial relief. Even with some of the highest earnings in the country, some lawmakers, particularly first-time MPs, can easily get drowned in debt for the entirety of their term. Seasoned MPs spoke with Neslon Mandela Muhoozi on how first-timers can steer clear of indebtedness.
