    Buyende man loses hand, cash to bandits.

    A 19-year-old youth from Buyenda district is nursing an amputated left hand after falling prey to bandits who chopped it off during a cash robbing spree. Abbey Kibalya, who is currently hospitalised at Kamuli Hospital in Kamuli district, met his fate a few days to the Christmas, when five thugs pounced on him with sticks and a panga.

    Parents arrested in back to school operation.

    The authorities in Kamuli Municipality arrested on monday 20 parents and 36 children. The parents were accused of abetting their children's absence from school and denying them from school dues. while children were held for absconding from school.
