Abstract
The Uganda People's Congress (UPC) faction of Jimmy Akena Obote has congratulated President Museveni upon winning the 2016 presidential election but asked him to step aside come 2021.
The Electoral Commission chairman Badru Kiggundu on Saturday afternoon declared President Museveni, the NRM flag-bearer, as winner of the 2016 presidential elections with 5,617,503 votes, a percentage of 60.75.
