Abstract
Uganda's oil production is no longer a subject of debate. It is only a question of when and how it will impact citizens.
After the initial exploration of oil and gas in 2024, Uganda confirmed commercial oil finds of 6.5 billion barrels, of which 1.4 billion are recoverable.
