dc.description.abstractKAMPALA. Uchumi Supermarkets Uganda has sued its former landlord for allegedly auctioning some of their property after it closed its business last year. Uchumi accuses Golf Course Holdings and Watts Business Association of placing an advert in the newspapers, seeking to auction Uchumi's property on January 27 with plan to recover their rent arrears yet the supermarket had offered assurance of payment on liquidation.
