Abstract
Karamoja is a semi-arid sub-region, which receives little and unpredictable rain. The area also experiences high temperature throughout the year. The impacts of climate change create challenges and impose severe losses and hardships on the communities.
Therefore, i believe that oil exploitation in Karamoja will worsen climate change hence negatively impact on the social and economic development of the sub-region.
