Abstract
It is hard to begrudge those who welcome the weakening of Iranian theocrats who have gunned down many of their own citizens-some estimates suggest as many as 30,000 in recent months. Yet the aerial assault on Iran launched by the United States and Israel signals a period of undisciplined and potentially unlawful violence that may prove difficult to contain.
