Abstract
The outbreaks reported from Rubanda and Amudat, which are close to Rwanda and Kenya suggest that the pest could have migrated from the neighboring countries. Effect; Outbreaks of the fall Armyworm could cause losses between 30% and 40% of the maize crop and this translates to $200m (sh7.4b) loss for the farmers.
