Abstract
This study assessed the seasonal variations of solar radiation and relative humidity over Tororo district, Uganda using meteorological data collected from Trans-Africa Hydro Meteorological Observatory (TAHMO) weather station for the year 2017 and 2018. The findings revealed that solar radiation was highest during the dry months of January and February and lowest during the wet months of June and July. Relative humidity showed an opposite pattern Correlation analysis showed a weak negative relationship between solar radiation and relative humidity with a correlation coefficient of approximately -0.347. The relationship was not statistically significant at a 95% confidence level. Based on the results, solar radiation and relative humidity over Tororo district are modulated by seasonal weather conditions.
