This project focused on the design and construction of a simple electric bell system using a DC motor. The aim was to demonstrate the conversion of electrical energy into mechanical motion and subsequently into sound. A DC motor was powered using a DC supply, and a striker mechanism attached to the motor shaft was used to hit a bell to produce sound. The system was tested under varying voltages, and the relationship between voltage, motor speed, and ringing frequency was analyzed. Results showed that motor speed increases with applied voltage and directly influences the frequency of the bell sound. The project successfully demonstrated a simple and cost-effective alternative to the conventional electromagnetic bell.
