Abstract
Health guidelines stipulate that babies should be exclusively breastfed for the first six months. Thereafter, other foods should be introduced, in addition to breastfeeding until the baby is two years. However, after introducing the baby to complementary foods, mothers living with HIV/AIDS are advised to stop breastfeeding.
