Abstract
As Ugandans go to polls, leaders of international election observer missions have called for calm and urged candidates to refrain from any acts of violence. In a joint statement, ex-presidents Obasanjo, Mwinyi, and Banda appealed for peaceful voting and warned against provocative acts.
