Abstract
The rapid evolution of technology has transformed the food service industry, necessitating more efficient and user-friendly systems for managing food orders. This project proposal outlines the development of an Online Food Ordering Management System aimed at addressing the limitations of traditional food ordering methods. The system is designed to streamline the ordering process for customers while providing administrators with tools to manage food categories, track orders, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
This study identifies the challenges associated with manual food ordering systems, including long wait times, order inaccuracies, and inefficient inventory management. By implementing a centralized platform, the proposed system seeks to automate the ordering process, thereby improving customer satisfaction and reducing human errors.
The research objectives include gathering and analyzing system requirements, designing a user-friendly interface, and utilizing appropriate technologies such as PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL for implementation. The study also emphasizes the significance of real-time order tracking, secure payment systems, and data analytics to enhance user experience and operational performance.
Ultimately, this project aims to provide a practical solution that not only meets the needs of customers and food service providers but also contributes to the academic growth of the researcher by applying theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges. The findings from this study will serve as a valuable reference for future research and development in the realm of online food ordering systems.
