    The lady on the bridge.
(Daily Monitor, 2016-02-21) Maani Ebrahimi, Nafha
Thailand is one of my favourite countries in the world. It is some kind of relationship between my heart and some places, sometimes without a proper reason. We were discovering the metro skywalk when a very gentle elderly woman approached us and warmly suggested to us to visit a mall that had great discounts.

After the 2016 elections, Uganda will never be the same again.
(Daily Monitor, 2016-02-21) Prof. Kanyeihamba, George W.
Forget the false prophets, exaggerators and political pundits. The crowds which attended last Tuesday's presidential rallies branded by the media as "the last push for votes", indicated quite clearly that the real competition for the presidency was between Gen Yoweri Museveni and Dr Kizza Besigye. The Electoral Commission (EC) claimed it was neutral and fair in the way it conducted these elections, but when Gen Kale Kayihura's police brutally intercepted Besigye from whispering glad tidings to his supporters in Kampala and one person was shot dead in the chaos, police revealed the ugly and unacceptable face of unfairness.

    I dislike my wife's friends.
    (Daily Monitor, 2016-02-21) Musaalo, Joseph
Dear Reagan, as highlighted last week in part one of my response, note that marriage is intended to make us one. We are under obligation to protect it against any intrusion. On many occasions, intrusion in our marriages may come as a result of existent gaps. For example, failure to understand and accept that each of you is different and has both weak and strong points. Your wife has strengths and weaknesses just like you. Effective communication, acceptance, consultation and unconditional love for each other now may help you mend the gaps.
