Abstract
On Friday, Christopher Okello Onyum took to the witness stand to defend himself against four counts of murder allegedly committed at a daycare centre in Ggaba on April 2. He delivered a testimony marked by long pauses and a largely disjointed flow as he urged the court presided over by Justice Alice Komuhangi Khaukha to dismiss the charges, arguing that the prosecution had failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt that he had the intent to kill the four victims.
