The finding shows that banana production has greatly reduced over the last five years. Diseases and pests were identified as the major challenge affecting banana plantations. Symptoms such as yellow leaves, black banana fingers, maggots in stems, and plant death before harvest were commonly reported by farmers. Basing on Findings, it was recommended that Improve rural roads and transport systems; Road infrastructure should be improved to reduce transport costs and ease market access. Strengthen disease control programs through Agricultural officers should monitor banana diseases and provide quick solutions to reduce disease spread. Provide affordable agricultural credit financial institutions and government programs should provide low-interest loans to banana farmers. Reliable market systems should be developed to reduce exploitation and improve farmers’ incomes.
